Research Interests

·    Characteristics and mechanisms of seismic backgound noises: Footprints of various atmospheric, and oceanic events on seismic records; multi-scale coupling mechanisms among atmosphere-ocean-solid Earth.

·  Deep structure and geological processes of marginal sea basins: Using integrated seismological techniques such as shear-wave splitting, traveltime tomography to explore the seismic structure of the marginal sea basins and understand their geological processes. Current study area is focused on South China Sea.
